There have been some changes to this publication, which I am excited to share with you all. First, I have added a section for books I am reading. This will include reviews, favourite passages, and longer articles about authors.
Reading is the lifeblood of a writer's craft, an essential source of inspiration and knowledge. It fuels our imagination, exposes us to diverse perspectives, and teaches us the nuances of language and storytelling.
Through reading, writers can explore different genres, styles, and voices, expanding their creative horizons. It's not just about consuming words; it's about absorbing the essence of storytelling, honing our writing skills, and building a deep connection with the written word.
Every book we read adds to our reservoir of ideas and helps us craft richer, more compelling narratives. In essence, reading is the foundation upon which excellent writing is built.
This is why it seemed an essential element to add to this newsletter, which aims to help writers write.
It is worth checking it out this week as I have added not one but two FREE downloads for you.
The other difference is that I have enabled pledges for this newsletter. Everything I offer will continue to be free; however, a massive thank you if you can support this publication with a subscription.
Currently, I am running an experiment on Medium; if the results go the way I think, I will move away from Medium completely. Leaving Substack as my only method of supporting my family, so pledges will help.
The last change is that I will send the articles I publish weekly to your email. You will still receive the Sunday Chat and notifications when other articles are published. This is, again, a way to ensure those who followed me on Medium are aware when I launch new content.
If this is too much for you, please unsubscribe, and thank you for staying as long with me.
Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see this newsletter offer. If you enjoy this email, please share it so more readers can find it.
Until next week stay safe
Sam 😊
