When I started this email, I stated it was free, and I am committed to keeping to that in the future. However, that has not stopped a few people from asking me how they can support my writing and this project.
First, this is hugely humbling; it is lovely to know that people value my writing and want to support me financially. I don't write much about this, but life is financially challenging with three children under six and the increased prices in the UK.
However, my ethos has always been that if I can't afford to pay for expensive writing courses, there are more like me. Hence the fact I offer free advice.
For those interested in supporting my writing, though, there are several ways you can. First, you might consider joining my True Crime Magazine, Murder Mayhem UK, which has a subscription tier. If crime and history interest you, then you will love this.
If you are not into the more gruesome side of life, then you could consider buying one of my writing skills books in my Ko-Fi shop. On Ko-Fi, you can also pay a monthly membership or make a one-off donation to support my work.
The cheapest way of supporting my work is to s
hare these articles and help others find my ne
wsletter. Please know that whichever method you support me, I am more than grateful; these small actions make a massive difference in a writer's life.
I was pretty embarrassed to send this email; I have never been good at asking for anything. However, I justified that this is my birthday weekend, so you will forgive me for this small indulgence. Routine writing advice will resume next week.
Until next week stay safe
