Succeeding in the writing world is not easy. The competition for traditional publishing contracts is higher than normal, this results in more self-published books than ever. The market is saturated. Which is why I wanted to create something different for my Book Chronicles newsletter.
I want it to be a community approach where anyone can contribute to it. You can do this is several ways.
You can add an article to the newsletter with links to your social media and newsletter for extra exposure.
You can write an article about your books with links to where people can find them
If you want me to review your book then send me a copy, I will endeavour to review all as soon as I can.
This content will not only be added to my newsletter but will also be advertised on my Instagram account of the same name.
On Instagram I share quick reviews, pictures charts and other random bookish posts.
So if you are about to publish a book, published some already or just want to extend your reach please hit reply to any of my newsletters and tell me what you need and what you would like to add.
Let's work together to increase the number of eyes on your hard efforts.
If you enjoy this email, please share it so more readers can find it.
Until next week stay safe
Sam 😊
Weekly Three
Three recommendations to check out to make you a better creative.
Tommy Ueland Books - Tommy is a fire engineer by day, writer by nights. His books are cozy crime novels and I love all of them. When you consider that English is Tommy's second language his achievement is even more immense. If you like a quick read you can sit down and easily get into then check out any of his books.
Interview with Austin Kleon - This is an honest interview with an amazing writer. In it he speaks about the importance of his creative life and how his children help with this process.
Griselda (Netflix) - Based on the true story of Griselda Blanco who was known as the Godmother of drug trafficking in Miami. I watched this series in two days it was so engaging, although a little violent in places. Although you might not recognise her at first Sofía Vergara, plays Griselda and she is outstanding in the role.
Quote of the week
