So I sat down this week to research a case I thought would be a shortform content post for Instagram or TikTok. How wrong was I? When I started reading the research, I was hooked.
The case was so complex that I knew I would have to research more and write a longer article to do the case justice. I always feel responsible to the victims' families to do the cases justice.
This is the thing about writing; sometimes, you can plan the whole week's content, and something comes along that strikes your interest. My advice is always to run with the fresh idea. Readers identify writing that the author is passionate about.
Publishing schedules are a brilliant productivity step, but only if you adapt when you want to. After all, no one wants to be held hostage by their own rules.
If the inspiration or a spark takes hold, let it burn and turn your enthusiasm into a viral article. If you write with passion, readers will follow.
Plus, writing should be more than just churning out content; it should be about enjoying yourself.
If you are interested, the case that caught fire this week was about the Lake Bodom murders.
If you enjoy this email, please share it so more readers can find it.
Until next week stay safe
Sam 😊
