Tbh, no-one complains about musicians and artists and filmmakers using technology, old, new, to create their work, so its a moot point imo. What it has done is caused a flap and all the extra activity on the platform as a result, so win-win there. There’s good and bad writing however it’s created and it’s down to the individual to decide what they want to read without the need for a machine to tell them. If anything. It just waters down critical thinking even more, but on the plus side, the readers on this platform are (in my experience) far more discerning and open minded than the typical slop platforms the world had become accustomed to. There’s certainly some concerns around GDPR so it will be interesting to see how that pans out. I will not be using the checker as it will only feed the profits to the provider and feed the writer’s work to them without their agreement. Your use reflects many on this platform and that’s perfectly fine.
