🐦 Twitter, Elon Musk and Broadmoor
So the news is that Elon Musk has finally bought Twitter. The doomsday brigade is already announcing the end of Twitter.
I am not joining these voices; Twitter is one of my favourite platforms to hang out. I can't say I have built a brilliant following there, but it's a fun place to be if you don't take it too seriously.
Twitter is one of the more complicated places to build a following, mainly because of the volume of content you have to produce to get recognised, but it is a friendly place if you find the right group to hang with.
Book Update
Those who follow my work will notice that I have not produced as much content in the last couple of weeks because I am concentrating on my Broadmoor book. You can see some preview chapters as a subscriber on Murder Mayhem UK.
Monday, I have an article talking about the contrast between analogy and electronic knowledge systems and how I use both for different purposes.
If you want to check it out, follow me on Facebook, where I share links to all my work regardless of platform. I also only share free links, so there is no need to have a membership to read.
Bookworm Corner
The Binding - Bridget Collins
This was a real surprise for me this book. On the surface, it seems to be a dystopian one that gives everything away in the synopsis. But, without spoiling any of the surprises, I will say it is much more than what you think it will be.
Ten Days in a Mad-House - Nellie Bly
I started on this yesterday. I wrote an article on the amazing Nellie Bly **link**, so I was eager to read some of her writing. She is a fantastic writer and the book is easy to read despite the subject.
Meditations - Marcus Aurelius
I continue to read this book as and when. There is so much to digest in this read that to read it in one sitting would not do it justice. I also know it is a book I will revisit continually throughout my life.

Use Stoicism to Live a Life Free from Regret and Emotional Turmoil | by Sam H Arnold | Publishous | Oct, 2022 | Medium — medium.com Stoicism is a philosophy that makes sense. Many philosophers will suggest starting by reading Plato or Aristotle. Still, for me, the practical nature of Stoicism makes it a brilliant place to start.
