Besides Substack and having email accounts, I have not participated in social media since a brief foray in the late 1990s, which I quickly abandoned. There’s something so wonderful about learning that one’s hero does things in a way similar to oneself.
Not just majestically talented with the written word and brilliant in the creation of worlds and stories within them, it seems that, unsurprisingly, our Donna Tartt also is wise with regard common sense, and basic principles for navigating life.
I love Donna Tartt too, she has said on interviews I have found on YouTube that she does not feel it would add anything to her writing so why be on there.
